There is not a whole lot new to report, except that today I dropped off my first co-pilot at the airport. (It's a sad good bye when you don't know the next time you'll see someone...and yet a little exciting/suspenseful-secretly hoping she surprises me on a different leg of the trip...hint hint) But anyways, luckily my next stop was only and hour and a half from the airport so isolation syndrome didn't have a chance to kick in.
What I am extremely grateful for however is the bed I'm currently laying in. I have been treated like royalty this whole trip but this is the first time since I left that I have a real big girl bed (sleep is kinda a favorite activity of mine so I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few more blogs on my REM cycles or sleeping situations along this trip).
Speaking of sleep situations, when I left Tacoma on Sunday I wasn't feeling the greatest, it was probably more
nerves than anything but I think I was fightin a nasty cold.
Anyways, so as I was getting ready for bed in Jacksonville I shimmied over to Makenna singing “sexual healing” but Linda pointed out that it was more like
“sectional healing” seeing that we were sleeping on sectionals! So
now whenever I get ready for bed in some make-shift sleeping arrangement I
replay marvin gaye’s “Sexual Healing” in my head (substituting half of his
words with mine!) It has become quite the theme song! Haha...singing now as I drift off!
